Another
I would love another Baron Von Bullshit album. It would be great if it came with a video to so we could watch the concert. So far, modest mouse is my only favorite band that doesnt have a live movie.

I love sea wolf. But im currently witnessin tool and mm wrestle for the number one spot.
interpretation. They are still forest dogs. In a pack. And they are all family. Duh
is that these are FAMILY dogs. you would need the song of the house, which is 'teardrop' by massive attack. so unless Isaac had massive attack WITH him when he was in the woods, and they had their instruments/power, he would be unable to defend himself against the beasts, who would then receive their reward.
Everyone knows isaac can sing the song of the forest, therefore turning the wild pack of dogs into his brethren. Isaac can never get in trouble. Remember that one story a long time ago where he was drunk driving. And when the police came he said that "he drove through a whippet of nitrous oxide" and thats why he was driving crazy. source: wikipedia.
that's a damn lie- he can be killed by a rabid family dog, an angry port-town, or pete wentz if he finds all of the shards of his family's ancient ancestral sword, but isaac keeps one of those shards around his neck at all times, so it's a low probability.
everyone knows isaac brock can live forever. He has magic youth juice.
i don't like when an old band unites under a new frontman- it's not the same at all.
like, if isaac brock dies, and for some reason modest mouse tours with a new lead vocalist,
EVERY modest mouse song they play is a lie.
it might not be the eagles, i know i was listening to the radio and thought i was hearing a good cover, and then gustav said it wasn't a cover, but a reunited band with a new lead.
i'm vogue because i'm really confused right now.
this year will be great. There were also alot of band reunitings that happened this year.
yeah, but i'll end up hearing the single from whatever radiohead puts out, muse, they'll still blast 'sleeping lessons' night and day, and MAYBE the arcade fire, and NOTHING else on that list is gonna make it onto my radio station.
it just seemed like there was this BUBBLE of 06/07 music that was GOOD, and EVERYTHING seemed good to me, i would listen to ANY artist, and i was usually rewarded with a song worth hearing. maybe i'm the only thing that's changed.
Heres whats coming out this year. 2009.
Flaming Lips
The Shins
Portugal, The Man
radiohead is recording
Sea Wolf
Wilco
Arcade Fire (beginning of 2010)
Azure Ray (beginning of 2010)
Big D and the Kids Table (awesome ska)
Muse
Spoon
Why?
it was really cool because i was kicked out of my house and lonely and angry and i hated everything in my whole existence, and then i'm at a buddies house and it's late or early and it comes on and i was smiling and ramoning and pogo-ing and waking up the neighbors and happy by the time the whole thing was over.
i could REALLY use that right now. things kinda suck.
oh well- the point is, yeah, another BVB, i want more material- it's been two years since we were dead and so much of the music has changed from so many artists, emo died and scene is now and it's gross and hardcore and metal became metalcore and screamo dominates the skaterpunk world and it's a scary, scary place, that radio dial, and whenever i think i'll listen a while i feel torn limb from ear by a crocodile. okay, lame lyric attempt, just be glad i don't have a band together yet.
i miss 2006/7. MUSE! THE WHITE STRIPES! THE YEAH YEAH YEAHS! MODEST MOUSE! Brits were sending over acts like bat for lashes and interpol was breaking into our ears and spoon was putting out their 5th studio effort and the PRESIDENTS had new material! in rainbows was FREE online, but i payed 46$ for it because i knew all my friends had stolen it, Franz Ferdinand! do you REMEMBER your first Franz Ferdinand experience!? and you were sitting at home and the radio tubed glowed blue and then here comes take me out, and you're just thinking- wait- didn't Franz Ferdinand get assassinated to start WW1? AFI had new stuff and who is panic!at the disco? you didn't care, this EMO stuff was gross, who the hell is hawthorne heights?
then billy joe armstrong is on your TV- shouldn't that guy be old? WHAT!? make-up on greenday?
it didn't make sense, but out of it came '06 and music that was SO GOOD was just ON the radio 24/7.
where did it go? but new MM and new Y3x and new interpol- maybe it can all kind of make a comeback- audioslave is over, but that's okay because RAGE is gonna reunite(maybe)
i really hope it does. i NEED new music. all i really have right now is music.
about that. Its called the Lonesome Crowded Movie. I was wondering if they'd ever record a show (tour) and put it on dvd. Like Miroir Noir by The Arcade Fire. It would be so cool I would watch it everytime i couldnt go to a show
which is all the time haha. I would pay money for that. Btw, that show you are thinking of Ovaltine is called Austin City Limits.
The closest thing to a "live movie" you'll probably find is that documentary floating around youtube. Has a couple live performances. Oh! And there's that one show shot in Newport Kentucky that was completely recorded and uploaded onto a channel. You can always watch that. Good stuff.
like, concert footage on DVD?
THAT WOULD BE SO COOL!
i saw a modest mouse show on PBS (okay, here it's OPB)
it was the strangest thing, there was a death cab one another night, i don't know what program it is, but it was a live show and it was the COOLEST thing.
they actually played stuff from around BVB, i think it was an older show.
