I don't like the band on the whole. However, the power and poigniancy of the song "Little Motel" is so overpowering! I was nearly weeping at the end when the revelation was made, and it was truly gutwrenching. Leave it to Modest Mouse to make such an emotionally draining song/video that you can't help but play repeatedly. "You're the Good Things" from Everywhere and his Nasty Parlour Tricks is just one of those tracks that no matter how bad of a mood I'm in, just hearing the first 15 seconds washes away all the negativity away better then the best anti-depressant some quack doctor could shove down my throat. I love the little dilemmas the lyrics confront you with throught the song. Classic Issac Brock wittiness.

I used to have that same problem. But it ended the same time i ran out of money on my debit card haha. Now i have to hit up my parents for this stuff, since i'm still in high schoool. haha. I really want that cd, and not just because the covers are freakin cool. Thats another reason why i love modest mouse. They have the coolest covers dont they?

Yeah...I got a problem when it comes to Ebay and Modest Mouse things for sale. I have to get it resolved. Now, I don't know if they are going to rerelease Interstate 8, but on some level I don't really want them too. It's definitely a collectors CD and just reprinting it would ruin it. That vinyl for Heart Cooks Brain exists? Lol. I can't find that ANYWHERE at all. And the King Rat vinyl doesn't really appeal to me right now, since I do have the Dashboard single with King Rat on the B-Side, plus I never really was a fan of Fire It Up. But other than that, I will probably acquire Baron Von Bullshit...somehow...I mean, I did get Blue Cadet 3!

Have King Rat, and Heart Cooks Brain, and stuff. Go to Interstate-8.com. They list all the 7' that come out, and the list is almost infinite. Haha. Baron Von Bullshit will be hard to get. I can never find. People hold onto that harder than Blue Cadet 3!!!

I have all the albums, EPs except for Night on the Sun, Interstate 8 (which I'm getting soon) and Baron Von Bullshit. I do have all their 7"s except for Float On and Birds Vs Worms.

a massive collection of cd's already. I have all the albums, all the eps, ugly casanova cd, but only 1 single. The Whenever You See Fit single. The coolest part is that my Moon and Antarctica album is the purple edition. I love that version even though Isaac didnt. I'm saving up for the next ep though. I have all the vinyl singles of it right now.

Right now, I'm on a search to make a massive Mouse collection of CDs and vinyls. If you can find the Night on the Sun EP, get it. The songs on there are amazing, especially You're The Good Things (It's Alright to Die).

I didn't know those two were any different. I thought the Night on the Sun ep was just the Japanese version. And since its Japanase, I cant find it anywhere to buy

After listening to the Night On the Sun EP, some of the songs sound lacking. Night on the Sun and You're the Good Things (It's Alright to Die) sound SOOO much better on there than this. But off this, probably I Came as a Rat, because I have so much preference over Night on the Sun and You're the Good Things on Night On The Sun EP.
