Favorite TV shows
Alright. Theres not enough conversation going on this site. Even though theres like 96 fans online. da f***?
But anyways. What are your guys favorite cartoons/shows/reality. And it cant be a cancelled show.
I'd have to say
The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack

I prefer comedy and sci-fi shows like Supernatural, Fringe, Firefly, Family Guys, American Dad, the New Girl and Two and a Half Men. I also love two show which are pretty much similar to each other, Leverage and Hustle, these two are about honest and honorable cheaters that help poor people by robbing bad and rich guys.
If we have common taste then you will like pdf viewer just like I do!
(Yeah, where is everyone?)
Anyways, I enjoyed The Walking Dead, the first season just ended. I'm also a huge fan of Mythbusters.
Old show: Star Trek The Original Series from the '60's...
I don't watch TV much, so don't hold it against me that my favorite shows are Lost, Seinfeld, the Office, Simpsons, and Colbert Report.
really? wow. that is amazing.
anyway. i hate the chan, not the memes. there's no internets without memes.
also amazed that they havent played Baby Blue Sedan until this year. And that bankrupt on selling is barely played. AND that Gravity Rides Everything has only been played 11 times or so.
Quit talking about that cesspool. We don't need that crap.
But yeah, Tahoes, I realized that, on Interstate-8.com, that they just recently started playing Ohio live, for like the first time in fourteen years. I grabbed a video of it. f***ing fantastic!!!
you just referenced a well known 4chan meme. And you didnt even know it. "Fail" was one of the first 4 chan memes. Fail blog was started because of it. Who honestly says "Fail" when something like that happens. Cant you just say "4chan sucks" or "4chan is pretty lame"
and cuban
I KNOW. And they play Paper Thin Walls ALOT. I wouldve thought certain songs would be played alot more. And they play some songs TOOOO much. LIke at eevery show. Kinda crazy.
yeah, it's not about shows, but it's ACTIVE, and tahoes, you MADE this thread trying to get people to post- it's the most posted thread on the board.
also- my feelings on 4chan are that it fails.
lots.
and tons.
and stuff.
i think cubanwhip has the most...
well...
*shudders at cubanwhip's avi*
i made mine on MS paint. i always try to be original.
and rockstar is one of those job titles that just OPENS doors and legs. it does.
i think it's not unreasonable for me to assume that those who possess this power might wield it.
if i were a rockstar... actually, i'll tell you when it happens, next year recording starts on our first effort, we're going to court labels as soon as we book someplace bigger than the grange.
but since it's a band with my lover, i'll give you pretty good odds i don't spend any time with college chicks.
I think 4chan is stupid. I just thought the picture was funny.
But yeah, the setlist part of the site is amazing. Really useful when finding out what songs they've played and what they haven't. I'm surprised they've never played She Ionizes before.
that i see that that is from 4chan... i have less respect for you >:(
Haha.
Yes interstate 8. I love looking up all the set lists. It makes me feel good when the play an old song like Bankrupt on Selling. Or seeing that alot of songs they wrote for newer albums, they have been playing for like 8 years.
Its to hard. Too much work.
4Chan?

Alright, that place is silly and the fact that it was mentioned has now sullen this slow, but majestic forum.
But really, I don't care if the band posts on here or not. It would be cool just just chat with Eric or Jeremy, but if they never posted on here, it's not going to kill me. I just wanted a place to talk to like minded fans, jeez.
Also, on Interstate-8.com, FANTASTIC, website! I always use that, when looking up discography and the such. News is always pinpoint and it's such a helpful website.
And on Mods, I think really only one would do. Maybe not even, but just to help keep topics...well, on topic. Such as this. TV show topic, not a "b****ing about whether the band posts or not/I hate 4chan/I assume all rockband members are single and bang college chicks" topic. Just make a new topic for that, we need them jeez.
we do post the most random shit in other forums. In the forum for one of the albums, we are talking about how hot some singers are, and how ugly and stupid Green Day is.
And about the mod things, I just thinkk it would be cool to be a mod
Haha.
And yes, I agree. If I hear one 4chan meme on this site. If i hear one person say "Epic Fail" "Epic Lulz" "Did it die" or "goodnight sweet prince", I'm going to personally find your IP address, take a plane flight to where you live, knock on your door, and beat the shit out of the first person who opens the door.
About the f***ing college girls thing, They all have wives. And some of them have kids. I dont think that would go over well, especially since Isaacs wife does a bunch of shit for the band. But anyways, I never get my information from this site. I always go to Interstate-8.com. Its a site made up of a bunch of huge computer lurkers who lurk the craziest sites, and post weird rumours about modest mouse. And they always are true. Even pat grahams site and twitter posts more info.
if you did post a bunch of random shit on M&A, where would all your rep go?
besides, there's a couple of other things that are gone, too.
TROLLS
SPAMMERS,
ENDLESS ALT ACCOUNTS
PEOPLE WHO TALK ABOUT 4CHAN (don't you DARE)
maybe mods are what make miscreants.
as for MM posting on here- what the f*** do you expect? do you really think these guys are going to spend time that could be spent f***ing college girls and rocking out, on telling you their favorite TV shows? modest mouse is (as far as bands go) EXTREMELY fan-friendly. they spend a LOT of their time trying to blend in with the audience, and they keep us informed on a lot fo cool things that they do- what more do you NEED?
is them talking to you going to make the music better?
just go get famous so you can chill with them backstage.
I really would like to stick it out and try to make the best of things but there isn't much to work with. It's just so lonesome.
Comedy/satire stuff. Colbert Report, Family Guy, Simpsons, Scrubs, Office. Yeah.
there is no MOD on this forum. And Modest Mouse doesnt even post shit? What the hell? We could post the most random shit on the "Moon and Antarctica" forum, and nothing would happen. There are no rules. This forum sucks. If its not better in a week. I think i may retire myself of this site. Anyone with me?
the show 'Z rock' is another good one.
for what haha.
thanks, tahoes.
i have a few times. it made me laugh but i never got super hardcore into it. i will look up episodes now!
If you love gory and sickening, do you watch superjail! ? It's the most wonderfully animated show ever. But also the most sickening.
is so funny and gory and sickening, it makes me smile all the time.
its on at 11 at night for me. I have comcast.
i like the on demand music section, but i watched all the good videos.
i wish i had youtube to watch. it'd be SO cool.
i like RENO 911 on comedy central.
yes those shows were originally on fox. But they all did better on Adult Swim. So King of the Hill was just switched to Adult Swim. And being from texas. King of the Hill appeals to me more. Home movies was cancelled awhile ago. I like Brendon Small's Metalocalypse. Austin city limits is cool, when they play good bands. i hate it when they play lame ass bands i havent heard of. like blues. and country.
Home Movies has it's moments. Wasn't laugh out loud hilarious, but chuckle worthy. But yeah, King of the Hill, Futuruama and Family Guy were all on other stations before Adult Swim.
adult swim? watch 'home movies'
it's the most enjoyable cartoon they've ever really showed me.
then again, i'm completely biased against anime.
i LOVE tim and eric though.
and wasn't king of the hill a FOX show? same with Futurama and Family Guy, i'm pretty sure.
Honestly,I never have seen any of what you guys have mentioned.Seriously,I do not have cable or take the time to search on the internet.I get what the antenna will give me.So,which leaves me with these shows that I like to watch. The Short List, American Masters, Austin City Limits, Nova, Nature... Hey,it works for me. They do show some cool stuff. If anything check out from The Short List SPIN by Jamin Winans. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oP59tQf_njc
Best shows I have ever seen on there are Sealab 2021, The Mighty Boosh, Robot Chicken, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Superjail!, and Assy Mcgee.
Squidbillies. What a waste. The best shows on Adult Swim are King of the Hill, superjail!, and The Mighty Boosh. Sometimes Robot Chicken.
I'd have to say the Office and Squidbillies are my favorite. Beetlejuice was my favorite show when I was younger, and I'm pretty sure it was on cartoon network.
what you mean by 'oldschool' haha. but if you want cheesey. Watch The Mighty Boosh. its so stupid. but never ceases to make me laugh. i love the fact that the entire show is shot with 1 camera and with a dark tint
right now? i really like house. and the office.
uh... cartoon network, yeah, johnny bravo has my back, also used to be REALLY into the show 'doug' on nickelodeon, have you guys seen that one?
i usually use my TV to watch 'unplugged in new york' because all i really have in my life is music and a cowardly canapino girl.
what about old school shows that you love even though they're cheesy?
i like magnum, P.I.
yes. yes. courage always scared me though. i would have to say johnny bravo. so stupid, and i loved how he always wanted women. As a kid i always wanted an episode where he bagged one. Never happened :l
I'll have to go with Courage The Cowardly Dog having been my all time favorite as I grew up. Awesome show.
What about cancelled Cartoon Network (not adult swim) shows. What would your favorite be?
I mainly just let my TV play and whatever is on, I watch. But my favorite shows are probably Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, The Office, and Sealab 2021 (I don't care if it's canceled. I love that show).
