Reviews for this Album

This is just a fantastic live set by Modest Mouse. Although not as free formed as when they used to play live, usually incorporating a lot more improvisation and jamming, it is still amazing. This sticks more to the studio versions of the songs, but at the same time sounds completely different. Isaac is in top form here and performances such as Paper Thin Walls and The Good Times Are Killing Me are truly a beauty to behold.

And riddled throughout the album are little live segments, such as his rant about Free Bird, which always brings a chuckle out of me. All these songs are ace and is a must listen to, to new fans and old. It's a perfect combination of their older songs, and newer songs (at that time). The only song that could technically be considered "new" would be The Good Times Are Killing Me, but the song fits so well, you can't complain.

"Doin' the Cockroach" is one of the best songs that you will ever see played live. Thought this recording only does it mild justice--yet, how does can a man capture the energy of the sun--it is still a wonderful cd, and gives the listener a sample of what they will experiance when they see this band live. From my personal experiance, Modest Mouse is one the greatest bands live that I have ever seen; their energy is over the top.

I love live music its just so much better

A great piece of work yet again.

I like the jamming and music composition most. Sound quality is also good. Everyone should try it....
