Modest Mouse will re-issue The Fruit That Ate itself and Sad Sappy Sucker on November 9, 2010. The Fruit That Ate Itself EP was originally released in 1997 via K Records and Sad Sappy Sucker was originally released in 2001 also through K Records.

The CD and vinyl will now be available on Glacial Pace Recordings and can be preordered thru Glacial Pace at http://store.glacialpace.com/collections/new. The releases are also available at iTunes and other digital music outlets.
Due to inclement weather, Modest Mouse's canceled show on July 23, 2010 at the Williamsburg Waterfront in Brooklyn, NY will be rescheduled for September 14. In honor of the album's 10th Anniversary, Modest Mouse's landmark recording The Moon & Antarctica is to be reissued on vinyl later this spring.

Out-of-print for the past five years, the 12" remastered heavy double vinyl will be released on April 17, coinciding with Record Store Day, the annual celebration of independent record stores.

Recorded from July through November 1999, Modest Mouse's third album The Moon & Antarctica made it on many year-end Best Of lists in addition to ranking in the Top 10 on Pitchfork Media and Rhapsody's top of the decade lists.

Modest Mouse are excited to announce they will be playing the 2010 Pitchfork Music Festival on Friday, July 16. The festival is held at Chicago's Union Park July 16-18.

Modest Mouse premiered the new video for “The Whale Song” on Pitchfork.com earlier today. This new 6 minute video was directed by Nando Costa and created with the help of Bent Image Lab, a Portland Oregon-based production company and creative laboratory. A special music video vault playlist of classic Modest Mouse videos will also be featured on Pitchfork.com, including "Float On", "Ocean Breathes Salty", "Little Motel" and the Heath Ledger directed video for "King Rat".

The new ‘Perpetual Motion Machine’ 7” single will be released on July 21. This special 7”, the third in a series, will be on limited edition red vinyl with an embossed sleeve and individually numbered to 4000. This new single includes never before released tracks: ‘Perpetual Motion Machine’ backed with ‘History Sticks To Your Feet’ This special vinyl will be available nationally at retail, with the songs also offered on iTunes.
