In honor of the album's 10th Anniversary, Modest Mouse's landmark recording The Moon & Antarctica is to be reissued on vinyl later this spring.

Out-of-print for the past five years, the 12" remastered heavy double vinyl will be released on April 17, coinciding with Record Store Day, the annual celebration of independent record stores.

Recorded from July through November 1999, Modest Mouse's third album The Moon & Antarctica made it on many year-end Best Of lists in addition to ranking in the Top 10 on Pitchfork Media and Rhapsody's top of the decade lists.

I hope that they send something extra like they did when they sent out We Were Dead, that would be an awesome surprise!!

I'll bet that they need funds for a new studio album (Not that this amazing album doesn't deserve a 10th anno.) But $31(after shipping) from who knows how many fans can add up to a nice stack.
God I hope that is the case....

The honest and clear lyrics made this album successful. It's quite matured in nature but still it struck the heart of music lovers. Commendation to the people behind the band and the band itself! scholarships for african americans
