I ordered mine from Insound and it came shipped in a cardboard box wrapped in bubble wrap and paper.They also included a stack of trading cards from various artist and a Insound anniversary book.Paid the same as you but a better transaction.Insound is also taking pre-orders for the Autumn Beds I'm sure your aware so try purchasing from them and see how it goes.Bad luck on your record though,I know I would have blown a gasket.

I would like to say that as a huge fan from 'down under' I am very dissapointed that I can not buy the limited edition vinyl via the internet. Love the new stuff but I'm so sick of not being able to buy thier CD's, and always having to order things from USA and paying extra in shipping!! Modest Mouse start stocking in Aus!!

Modest Mouse is amazing. I haven't heard this album yet, but I'm looking forward to giving it a listen, and I'm sure that unlike many of my other fave albums it will definitely last longer.
